Time for a GIVEAWAY!

YEAUHHH! It's time for a Get Craftlicious giveaway! So you know what I've noticed? I have over 1,000 page views right now. Yup! A lot of people rig their page views to read more than they actually have, but mine isn't a faker. I, for reals, as of right now, have had 1,154 page views. Slight problem though... I want more followers! Call me crazy but I just do. There's only 13 of you, and I want a big family of Craftlicious lovers.
So here's what's going to go down. You're going to contact a friend, and tell them to be a follower. You will then leave me a comment below telling me why I'm awesome, leaving yours and your friends name, and your e-mail address. When I have reached 26 followers, I will do a random drawing and you and your BFF will win a prize! Why 26 followers, you ask? Because that is at least one friend for each of you to contact. If you just so happen to have more than one friend that follows, pick your favorite one! Either way, this prize is SUPER cute and you should get excited. ALSO, I will ship it to you for FREEE! Even if you live in England, I will send it to you because I love my followers so much.

I'm sure you're thinking, "is this even worth it Breann? Do I even want this prize? In fact, what is the prize?"

Well.... I'll tell/ show you.

A Pennant sign!

I will make a pennant sign for you and your friend! It can say whatever you want it to, in what ever colors you want!

These look great practically anywhere in your home. Great for kids rooms, front entryways, wall decor or even just for a holiday!

As you can see, each pennant is very detailed, and I make very sure that each one is super cute! I normally charge around $10-$30 for each sign (depending on how many pennants are required, and what kind of detail is expected) so this is a rockin' win!

Now is the TIME! Submit your entry and let the fun begin!

The $6 Pillow

Yep that's right... this pillow only cost me $6 to make, and it's the bomb dot com. Only problem is I was doing it in a rush because I wanted to clean up and finish laundry before the husband got home from work, so I totally didn't take tutorial pics! I know, I'm an idiot. HOWEVER, I will write out the steps for you. It's super easy to make, so I'm sure you'll get it in a jiff.

Supplies needed:
  • throw pillow without the case
  • 2 square dinner napkins of your choice
  • needle and thread or sewing machine
  • assorted ribbon
First! Take your two dinner napkins and place the sides you want facing each other.
Next! Sew along 3 sides of the napkins leaving the fourth one open.
Then! Flip it inside out and put your pillow inside
Now! Cut holes large enough for your ribbon down the fourth side.
Last! Pull your cute ribbon through the holes and tie in knots. Voila! You have a freaking cute pillow!

How much did it cost?:
  • 2 dinner napkins from Stein Mart - $2.00 each
  • assorted ribbon from scrapbook store - $2.00
  • needle and thread - free since I already had it
TOTAL COST: $6.00..... Boo yah!

I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Did I mention I'm sorry?

Well friends, it's been almost a solid 2 1/2 weeks since I've updated you. All I have to say is I'm soooooo sorry! I only have a few excuses.

Excuse #1: On the 11th my very favorite brother-in-law got married, so pretty much the entire week was spent running around, staying up late and partying. It was a blast but it took some time to recuperate.

Excuse #2: Last week I worked A LOT of hours and hardly had time to do anything craftlicious. It was so sad!

Excuse #3: Then this last weekend, the husband and I celebrated our One Year Anniversary! Boo yah! He got us 2 nights at a sweet hotel in Scottsdale and we had a blast just hanging around, eating, and laying by the pool!

So as I was laying out, Ben said he just wanted to go relax in the room. I came in to find this. He completely passed out taking up the entire king sized bed.

And this is what happened to me. Word to the wise: When laying out in Arizona, don't read a good book. You'll completely lose track of time and burn the crap out of yourself.

Excuse #4: On top of all of that, I have been working on my dad's farm selling CORN on my days off. Side note: being outside today, at 12 o' clock, in 107 degree heat seriously made me question not only why I live in Arizona, but my sanity.

My exact thoughts at this moment were: "It's so freaking hot. And I'm dirty... and sweaty. Someone come buy some freaking corn so I can go home."

Sweet Corn!!!!

Anyway, I have a couple projects to show you that I was able to squeeze in! Tutorials in my next post!
Here's a teaser:
Oh YEAUHH! Get excited!

Pinterest

Freak. I'm on Pinterest now, too. However, Pinterest is freaking awesome!!! It's basically a place where you can have virtual pinboards, and when you find something you love online, you pin it! People can follow you and see what you've pinned and vice versa. I've been on it for the past 2 days... very addicting.

So, Pinterest is an amazing tool and everyone should get an account! I know you'll love it!

twitter...

Well, it's official... I got a Twitter account. I know, Twitter is old news BUT I'm super lame and I am just barely getting one.
As of right now I have 3 followers, 2 of which I don't even know and I think they might be creepers. I follow a couple of crafty bloggers and Conan O'Brien... he makes me laugh. Anyway, you should follow me! There will be daily posts of crafty crap and things I draw inspiration from!

You can find me by searching for Breann Bowman or Get Craftlicious... I think my tweet name thingy is @getcraftlicious

I'm still new to it, so bear with me as I figure it out!
